In trying to do our part to assist both our internal and external stakeholders, we set up a COVID-19 salary impact relief initiative, which saw us assisting many beneficiaries and selected Barloworld employees who went through the s189 process.

Highlighted below is how we made a difference.

COVID-19 Salary Relief Impact:

• >R22m paid to about 50 Enterprise and Supplier Development Beneficiaries.
• +-800 jobs sustained in SMMEs
• 8 Loan Beneficiaries amounting to R10 million received payment holidays (R1,8million waived over 6 months)
