Meet the board, the Siyakhula board members

For an organisation to reach its true potential and serve out its purpose, it is important to have a leadership team which believes in, lives and breathes its vision. The Barloworld Siyakhula team is currently led by a board with experience in diverse areas, making them capable and key to achieving Siyakhula's vision. The Board is composed of the following Directors:


Noluvo "Vovo" nqcwabeNoluvo Ngcwabe (Vovo) has over 24 years of experience in various managerial and executive roles in different industries including the financial sector, mining, health regulatory and FCMG regulatory sectors. She has held various roles at Barloworld Group which include Senior Human Resource Manager for Africa and Corporate Social Investment Manager for Southern Africa, and currently working as Head of Corporate Citizenship and Stakeholder Engagement. She is currently pursuing her MBA with GIBS and holds a BA in Industrial Psychology, a postgraduate Diploma in Management, certificates in Social Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development Programme and brings wealth development knowledge to the Siyakhula Board.


Prudence GololoPrudence Gololo has over 26 years of experience in various leadership, managerial, and executive roles. She has worked in different industries, including local/national government, civil society, mining, and private sector, gaining exposure internationally. She joined Barloworld Equipment in 2013 as Head of Transformation, Diversity and Government Relations and has been very instrumental in the transformation journey of BWE, achieving a Level 1 B-BBEE rating for 4 consecutive years. Prudence was recently promoted to the role of Managing Director, Barloworld Siyakhula, an Enterprise and Supplier development vehicle of the Barloworld Group of companies. She chairs the Siyakhula Investment committee and is also a Director at the Siyakhula Board. She is also a professional member of the Institute of Directors, SA. Prudence has honed her skills as a strategic thinker and has brought to Siyakhula her passion for practical implementation of strategy focusing on reforming its governance structures and operating model. She has re-positioned Siyakhula to be a more strategic, efficient, and innovative entity and enhanced processes through automation and digitization of the programme. Prudence holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration and International Relations, and certificates in; Leadership Development Programmes, including the GIBS Imbokodo Women Development, Coaching for Leadership Development, Marketing Management, and Public/Media Relations.


Relebohile MalahlehaRelebohile Malahleha is an Executive in Group Finance, focused on delivering Strategic Projects of Barloworld, which include, Treasury reforms, acquisitions, disposals, Finance transformation, accounting Advise, BBS and IT in Finance. She was the CFO of Avis budget Southern Africa, a division of Barloworld SA for 4 years prior to joining Group Finance. She brings to Barloworld, wealth of experience in Finance, Governance, Technical and Leadership experience from her various experiences in the sectors of Audit, Financial Services, Public Sector, Automotive and Retail.


Sydney TshibubudzeSydney Tshibubudze is an accomplished and multifaceted Procurement and Supply Chain professional with over 20 years of experience in delivering optimal results and business value through the deployment of Continuous Improvement and Strategic Sourcing best practices. He has worked in various business industries (e.g. Engineering Consulting, Management Consulting, Steel, Utility, ICT, Cement, Industrial services) and is currently an Executive Head: Strategic Sourcing for Barloworld Equipment. He joined Barloworld Group in October 2019 within the then known as Barloworld Automotive and Logistics division as a Divisional Executive: Strategic Sourcing. He was involved in major procurement transformation projects in South Africa within various organizations. Sydney is highly skilled and experienced in commercial negotiations, development and implementation of sourcing strategy models (including Enterprise and Supplier Development strategies), system implementation and supply chain management. He holds a BSc Mechanical Engineering from University of Witwatersrand, BCom Quantitative Management from UNISA and an MBA from the University of Cape Town Graduate Business School. He is a full member of a global recognized procurement professional body, Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), holding an MCIPS membership status.
