As the year draws to a close, we take a moment to reminisce about this year, 2021, and to give thanks for both the highs and the lows. We are grateful for the highs as they have demonstrated what we are truly capable of as individuals, and we give thanks for the lows as they refined us and made us more resilient. We are extremely proud of our beneficiaries who have grown phenomenally from the financial and non- financial support they have received from Siyakhula. We would like to appreciate every stakeholder, service provider, team members who have contributed to Siyakhula being the resounding success that it has become. In short, we are grateful for OUR BEST YEAR EVER... believing that there is so much more in store for Siyakhula.
2021 has undoubtedly been a difficult year for many yet Siyakhula has risen above that with many a success story to tell, including the transformational achievement obtained by Barloworld Equipment, Siyakhula’s parent company, of a renewed Level 1 BBBEE rating. Siyakhula has been fortunate to welcome new faces and a new guard, led by myself in my capacity as Managing Director and supported by Lesego Ramatlhape as the Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD) Manager and Musa Mokhobole as the ESD Assistant. This team has worked tirelessly to make huge strides, with the publishing of our first ever Siyakhula newsletter taking place in the year and an increase in the number of beneficiaries supported.
Siyakhula together with 20/20 Insight have accomplished great things as a team by prioritising each and every beneficiary and achieving impressive turnaround processing times, from the point of receiving funding request to disbursement. The festive season is at hand and with a much-needed and well-deserved break within reach. We at Barloworld Siyakhula would like to take this opportunity to wish all our external and internal stakeholders and their loved ones a safe and restful season followed by a very prosperous New Year in 2022. Please remember to exercise all Covid protocols, such as social distancing, always washing and sanitising your hands and the wearing of a mask when out in public. We look forward to seeing you all momentarilyBack to previous page
