Starting in 2012 with a relatively small shop selling second hand tyres to owning multiple companies under Mogau Wheel & Tyre Group, the journey of husband and wife business owners, Tebogo Netshivhangani, Operations manager and Khomotso Mokhabukhi, Director has been a life changing and inspiring journey for them, their loved ones and those supporting him.

With the realisation that their new Head Quarters (HQ) in Booysens, had completely depleted their financial reserves, it was clear that it was time to call Siyakhula for assistance, which was gladly offered. Due to the size of the new HQ, there is a huge potential for future development on site.

The Mogau Wheel & Tyre Group’s first company, Moletsane Supaquik, which is based in Soweto is thriving, including their second company based in Devland operating under the Best Drive Viking franchise. With plans afoot for the expansion of the Booysens’ premises to build a restaurant, car wash, butchery and hope to involve Bosch car services and a panel beating shop in the near future, the sky is the limit for this hard working duo.

A total of 25 employees make up the rest of the team excluding the couple’s young ones who have taken a great interest in following in their parent’s footsteps. Aiming at flattening the curve of poverty, the team is working to expand as far as possible eventually into the farming sector.

The amazing couple, who are also parents to four kids, say the secret to their success over the years and especially recently with Siyakhula’s involvement, has always been God’s Grace, trust, sacrifices, and joint decision making. Their advice to anyone who is considering entrepreneurship is to “just start and create a better life for the next generation”.

An absolute inspiration to many, Tebogo and Khomotso are the true reminder that “hard work definitely pays off”. We need more role models such as this dynamic duo!!!
